here is your Monday Fitness reminder...
If you haven't already make sure you incorporate some exercise in your daily routine!
Regular Daily Physical Activity is not only good for your body but it's also good for your mental wellbeing.
Regular Daily Physical Activity does not only make you feel good while you train (release of the feel-good endorphin hormones) but it also it could help you prevent on the longer run have joint points. I could help you stay flexible and mobile.
Regular Daily Physical Activity could help you age gracefully. (Better blood flow & oxygen to your cells helping the whole cell regeneration process).
Regular Daily Physical Activity could help you your brain work better (by allowing more oxygen to reach your brain thanks to better blood flow with exercise)
Regular Daily Physical Activity could help you be generally in a better mood (sense of achievement / accomplishment after completing your workout or meeting up your gym/exercise buddies)
Regular Daily Physical Activity could help you eat healthier or become more aware of what you eat/drink (since you are already working on doing some good through exercise) but be careful not to overeat after exercise.
The NHS UK recommends 150 minutes of moderate intensity activity a week or 75 minutes of vigorous intensity activity a week. Maybe set a goal to exercise for 30 minutes, 5 to 7 days a week.I would say: a little bit every day enough to make you sweat a little bit and your heart pumping and your lungs working is good :)))
Also remember to incorporate muscle-strengthening exercises or activities part of your fitness programme to improve your strength and flexibility.
Be physically active every day. Any activity is better than none, and more is better still.
Make sure the type and intensity of your activity is appropriate for your level of fitness and check with your GP / doctor before starting / or re-starting Physical Activity.
